Cool!

This is our book club blog!

To speed up book selection, Amy V suggested using email, but Jay thought having a blog would work well and he has made a believer out of me. With the blog, we can just drop in and see what people have been thinking, whether it be about the current book, ideas for the next book, thoughts on the last meeting, or food for the next meeting. It might be nice for checking in on people's progress, as well. Now we won't have to worry about finding that one email in a sea of old emails, just get on the blog!

To keep it better organized and easier to navigate, I think it would work best if all responses to a post are made through the comment option, instead of using a new post (i.e. use a post for a new subject, use a comment to respond to a post).

I decided to make it a members-only blog, so that we don't start getting posts and comments from people we don't even know! We can always add new members.
